Dr. John Frey earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1996 after graduating from Grand Rapids Junior College and Grand Valley State University. As a lifelong resident of northeast Grand Rapids, he started his own family dentistry practice in 1997, and has enjoyed serving the northeast community since that time.
Dr. Frey actively volunteers with his local dental society, having served on the Executive Board and as the President of the West Michigan District Dental Society. He has been the Chairperson of the Michigan Dental Association’s annual Session, and also volunteered on a national committee with the American Dental Association.
He donates his dental services to the Donated Dental Services Program here in West Michigan and has appeared many times on WGVU Television Channel 35’s Ask the Dentist program.
He is a Fellow in both the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, dental honor organizations that recognize their member dentists for their professional achievements and service to their community.
Dr. Frey resides in northeast Grand Rapids with his wife Lisa and their three children.
